From a simple idea to a place worth stopping.

Construction workers assembling a metal building frame outdoors on a sunny day, with trees and rural landscape in the background.
A young girl with a band-aid on her leg, holding a paper bag with greens inside, standing in front of a store with a welcome sign, near a potted yellow flower.

The Journey

Steel frame structure being assembled for a building on a construction site in a rural area, with workers working around it.

Finishing Touches

Through the cold months before the season, Tim and our son worked side by side to bring the interior to life. They framed the space, ran wiring for lights, painted, and shaped it into something warm and welcoming — a place that felt good to be in long before the first customer arrived.

Various fresh tomatoes and zucchinis displayed in wooden and cardboard containers.
A red building with a white door and two windows, with a small porch and chairs, set against a rural landscape with trees and open fields.
A man with a beard and glasses standing inside a room under construction, wearing work clothes, gloves, and a tool belt, with insulation on the walls and a window to the left.
A boy wearing a gray beanie and a blue jacket stands inside a partially constructed room with wooden framing, a concrete floor, and insulation on the walls.
Frozen blueberries in clear plastic containers, labeled as Joe's Blueberries half pint, on a store shelf. There are also coffee cans labeled GIGANTIC Coffee on the bottom shelf.

Building the foundation

Before there was a frame or a plan on paper, this space held an old tank and overgrown scrub trees. We cleared the site, graded the ground, and laid gravel by hand, creating a solid foundation and a blank slate for what the farm stand would become.

Man with three children inside a building under construction, with unfinished walls and a window in the background. The man is wearing a brown jacket, hoodie, glasses, and has a beard. The children are dressed in winter clothing, smiling, with an air compressor in the foreground.
Folded cream-colored t-shirts with green and orange text in a wooden box, with jars of apricot jam nearby. The text on the shirts reads 'BROADVIEW Kale Radish,' '815 Swiss Chard,' and 'Brussels Sprouts'.

Be Our Guest

With the stand complete, this space became what we hoped it would be — a welcoming place to stop, browse, and linger a bit. From fresh produce to farm goods and simple merch, everything here reflects the care that goes into our farm and the people who make it possible.
